نوشته ای دکتر پژمان دادخواه در برپایی نمایشگاه عکس مفهرمی «شهر» در نگارخانه شَلمان:
روستاها که بزرگ می شوند، شهر بوجود می آید. شهر ساخته دست و فکر آدمی است. انسان ها شهر را می سازند و شهر انسان ها را. شهر کنایه دارد و عدم قطعیت. شهر پیش رونده است و سیری رو به جلو دارد. شهر زیباست. شهر جذابیت دارد و هر روز انسان ها را به سوی خود جذب می کند. چهارچوب و فرمول می دهد و برخی از چهارچوبها و فرمول ها را در هم می شکند. شهر زرق و برق دارد و همین زرق و برق رمز مسحورکنندگی شهر است و در همین فرایند مسحور کنندگی، برخی از واقعیت ها فراموش می شوند، دچار اختلاط می شوند یا زاده می شوند....
شهر زرق و برق دارد!

When villages grow, cities arise. The city is made by human hands and thoughts. Humans build the city and the city builds humans. The city has irony and uncertainty. The city is progressing and moving forward. The city is beautiful. The city is attractive and attracts people every day. It gives frameworks and formulas and breaks some of the frameworks and formulas. The city has glamor and this glamor is the secret of the enchantment of the city, and in this process of enchantment, some realities are forgotten, mixed up or born....
The city is gorgeous!
