The paintings of "The Cold Silence" collection started in October 2009, after the chain acid attacks in Isfahan and the ruining the lives, beauty, and dreams of innocent girls for the sake of feminine beauty that was a gift from God.
Expressive style that I use in my artworks was effective in expressing the subject and clarity of the concepts. Exaggerated colours, forms and also no trace of naturalism helped me transfer the concepts into my works. The use of sewn ropes illustrates the intertwined dreams which are tied to a rope made of extremism and myopia of people who see God compulsive and cruel, and not compassionate or merciful.
As a painter, I wanted to take my brush for sympathy to the victims and also protest against violence against women and play my protest song in a symphony of colours and shapes in the hope of destroying the perpetrators.
