رنگ‌های جسورانه و زمخت، بازتاب دادن به واقعیت‌های بیرونی و درونی، استفاده از رنگ‌های خالص و شفاف به‌گونه‌ای پرخاشگرانه و پرشور، قانون‌شکنی در رنگ و درعین‌حال وفادار بودن به طبیعت و رعایت شکل کلی در تناسبات اجزای تصویر ازجمله مواردی است که در آثار این نمایشگاه مشاهده می‌شود.
مرجان یزدیان گرچه در آثار خود با تکنیک رنگ‌روغن روی بوم، سعی کرده که از آثار فوویسم‌ها خصوصاً هنری ماتیس الهام بگیرد، ولی برخلاف آثار ماتیس اشکال خیلی ساده و نامتعارف نیستند و تا حدی از قوانین و اصول رعایت شده و مهم‌تر از همه استفاده از خطوط اسلیمی و همچنین مسئله سایه و نور کاملاً مشهود هست.
استفاده از منحنی‌ها و قوس‌های دورانی مختلف که جزء ذات اسلیمی است و همچنین بازی با نور و سایه و تمایل به هنر شرق و زنان شرقی با رنگ‌های خالصانه بازتاب خوبی را در تابلوها به چشم بیننده القا می‌نماید.

Bold and rough colours, reflecting the external and internal realities, using pure and transparent colours aggressively and passionately, breaking the law in colour and at the same time being faithful to nature and observing the general shape in the proportions of the image components are among the cases. Which can be seen in the works of this exhibition?
Although Marjan Yazdian has tried to inspire the works of Fauvisms, especially the art of Matisse, in his works with the oil painting technique on canvas, but unlike the works of Matisse, the shapes are not very simple and unusual, and to some extent the rules and principles are observed and most importantly used. It is quite evident from the Islamic lines as well as the issue of shadow and light.
The use of different curves and arcs that are part of the Islamic essence, as well as playing with light and shadow and the desire for Eastern art and Oriental women with pure colours, induces a good reflection in the paintings to the viewer's eyes.
