نگرانم که باران نبارد
حتی؛
نگرانم که در دنیای پس از مرگ، واژه باران تعریف نشده باشد
انگار که دغدغه من باران،
و تمامی بهت و اندوهِ من
روزهای پیش از بارش است.
شاید این دوستان من، این صورت­های بهت زده و غمگین؛
در امیدِ برخورد اولین قطرات باران و شکستن انتظارند.
پیش از باران

Worried that even rain
Might not come,
That in the next world, Rain is not defined.
As if my preoccupation is rain,
And all my surprise and grief.
Alludes to the days before the rain.
Perhaps these friends of mine,
These surprised and sad faces,
Are hoping for the first drops of rain,
And the breakup of waiting.
Before the rain.
